Il Melo is a great place to cook but if you really want to understand about our wonderful Marche cuisine, there’s no better way than by learning to make it yourself with a local cook. In conjunction with Inside Rural Italy we are pleased to offer a half day course which will give you real hands on experience of farmhouse cooking the Marche way.
The cookery course is presented by Augustina who has lived in the region all her life and Pauline Betts who runs the Tripadvisor top-rated La Mela Rosa B&B. Course take place at Il Melo and are normally on Tuesday afternoons. The classes are suitable for 6 or more people and you will be divided into groups of 2 or 3 who will each make a different dish. You will learn to make a typical menu such as:
Pasta: pasta con sugo
Main course: involtino or pollo alla cacciatore
Vegetables: verdura alla griglia
Dessert: spumetti o crostata alla marmellata
