Horse riding – for the 4 years & older. Learn with Alberto how to take care of your horse, then he will lead you around the rink.
Come and pick the Mela Rosa apples – have fun picking the local apple, the Mela Rosa, at a small, family farm that has been growing these apples for 50 years. When you’ve finished, enjoy afternoon tea amongst the trees and take home a few kilos of apples. September & October only.
Boat ride on the lake – every year in April the River Tenna is dammed to form the San Ruffino Lake. Why not see it from the water? April to September.
Colours, scents & sounds of the Park – a short excursion along one of the tracks in the Sibillini National Park. With eyes covered, the children are invited to tell what the can smell, hear & feel.

Papermaking at Nightcloud Studio - workshops for just the children or the grown ups too.

Heffagalumpus at the Museo Faunistico dei Sibillini (Sibillini Fauna Musuem) – draw & talk about your imaginary animal after seeing all the animals of the Sibillini in the museum. Whilst the kids are busy, why not go upstairs to the wonderful Pinacoteca “Fortunato Duranti” and see the renound paintings that have inspired several visits from the curator of the Louvre.
The magic of the Sibilla – listen to the legends of the sorceress Sibilla, make a puppet of one of the characters and re-enact what you have heard.
Deer Park – Climb up the turret & peer through binoculars to see the deer hidden amongst the trees and bushes. Giorgio will be there to explain and answer questions.
SO, YOU’D LIKE TO BE A HUNTER!
Animal tracks – a short walk in the National Park to discover signs of the animals and to make plaster casts of the animal footprints.
The bread tree – Hunt for chestnuts under the splendid chestnut trees. These trees provided one of the most important sources of food to the mountain communities in the past as well as firewood and good wood for building. October only
Truffle hunting – go searching for truffles at the base of the oak trees. The “truffle dog” will be there to help you.
Excursion in the mountains – guided walks in the Sibillini Mountains suitable for small children.
