"We had a great week at Il Melo! It really is a lovely place. The house is so beautiful and we all loved having our own bathrooms! The pool got a lot of use from everyone, especially with the heat wave! We also all enjoyed cooking in your kitchen - what a great space! The kids (and adults) loved all of the books, videos and games in the house. You have thought of everything that one would need for a week in the country."

Il Melo ("the Apple Tree") is set in the valley of the river Tenna and surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. This part of Le Marche is known as the golden triangle, an apt name with its pretty hill towns, and rolling countryside running up to the Sibillini Mountains which are great for skiing in winter and walking at other times. In the other direction, the Adriatic coast is just a short drive away too with sandy beaches and wonderful seafood. There's plenty to do for children and adults whether it's exploring the woodland paths and banks of the river Tenna right next to the villa or wine-tasting, shopping at the many top brand shoe factory outlets or visiting the many local markets. We also offer cookery classes, fine dining at home and there are many wonderful friendly restaurants to choose from.
